in the last resort, since it cannot be admitted that the Ord.

requiring retirement at 60 does not apply to the C.J. II however
iggott contests further the application of the Ord. to
himself, then the Gov. can shew him the document and say that
if necessary it will be published.

In public desp. we can inform Gove. of the King's appro-
val of the appt. of Mr. Rees Davies to be C.J. from the 1st
of May, and instruct him to issue a Commission accordingly,
and say that a public announcement should be made some time in
April but that the precise date is left to the decision of the
local Govt.
